The A levels supper started on 15th Oct Monday ending the
following week on 25th Oct Thursday. The number of students who
turned up each night had increased to an average of 450 students. On the final
day of the supper, we had a huge turn-up of 609 students!
Menu changes every night. So far, we have served Japanese,
Italian, Korean, Meat Night, Wild Wild West, Stews, SSS (soup salad sandwich),
a Surprise Evening and finally ending with International Fest. For a $1 a meal,
I guess the food is not only good value for money but as some of the students
put it: “Better than the food at home”.
The halal and the vegetarian meals were cooked following the
theme for that evening. We have around 20 vegetarians and 20 Muslim students
coming to enjoy the supper.
Kudos to the enthusiastic parents who helped out each
evening. As we had enough help and extremely efficient parents, the supper was
usually served within an hour!
We also thank the councilors who were there every evening
helping us set up tables, serve the desserts and water.
We must also thank the busy parents who donated so
generously towards this event. It will not be possible to feed so many students
for so many nights with the balanced meals we planned without your donations.
And last but not least of all, we thank Mrs Lim Lai Cheng
for being there every night to serve the students as well. I noted that the
students were very touched by her presence and her quiet support in their studies.
RPA wants to wish all Year 6 students (and their parents)
all the best for their A levels. We know they will be doing their best for the
A Levels!

Below I am including some messages from this year’s Yr6
students.
(Note: MMM stands for Mega Mugging Madness to the students
and A levels supper for us.)
You guys should get some credit for the awesome results we
are gonna get! Thx so much for the great food.
Ben
You’ve made mugging much more tolerable with your food!
Thank you so much for all the cheap good food! MMM is
definitely one of the most significant times of J2 life and I’m sure many
others will agree! Sara
MMM really helped our class bond in these last days of school.
Attached are just some photos of some of the food, parents
and students.
